Welcome to our Mountain Bijou
You are in our private vacation apartment, where we spend as much time as possible hiking, skiing, recharging, and spending time with friends. We hope you will love our house and the magical Val Lumnezia just as much as we do! We wish you much joy and unforgettable moments.

Key
The key is stored in the mailbox. You will receive the code for the key box separately.
You will receive only one key (we don't have any more). Please use the key box to share the key when you are using the house with multiple people.
The garage opener is also in the key box.
At check-out, please return both the key and the garage opener.
Arrival & Parking
Giudem Vitg 64, 7142 Cumbel, Switzerland.
By public transport to the bus stop Cumbel Vitg.
We own the left parking space in the garage when driving in. The right space belongs to our neighbor Andriu, who also lives in the house.
There is a button in the garage to open/close the garage.
If you arrive with multiple cars: You can park in front of the garage, preferably across from the garage with the front facing the stairs. Please make sure that Andriu can get through with his car.
Additional parking spots are available in the village, see map.
Warning: Please do NOT park your car in front of or next to the neighboring houses!
Information about the House
Music: You can control our Sonos and B&O speakers through the WiFi. The picture of us in Namibia is a B&O speaker ;-)
Projector & TV: We don't have a TV, but there's a projector (bottom drawer in living room) and a large screen (under the bed in the middle room). All connections for laptop and phone are available. Please don't take them with you. We place the projector on the cardboard box (living room cabinet) on the children's chair.
Coffee machine: Nespresso. Some capsules are available for use in the drawer under the machine.
Raclette oven & Fondue: Everything is available on site. Cheese and cheese mixtures can be bought in the village and farm shops.
Bed linens: Additional linens in the attic room in the drawers under the bed.
Towels: In the lower bathroom cabinet and in the attic room in the right drawer under the bed.
Tips for hiking and ski tours: Brochures in the living room cabinet or check Surselva Tourismus..
Please Note
No smoking in the house. Empty ashtrays on the balcony.
Caution regarding the balcony: Only walk on it with shoes. There are large splinters!
Toilets: Sometimes they continue to flush. Please press again until the water stops.
Blinds in the attic: Please do NOT close them in winter! They break when it snows.
Cellar is PRIVATE: We keep our personal belongings here. Please do not remove or use anything. We thank you for respecting this.
Shopping
In the village, there are two small village shops, open 24/7 with fresh bread, eggs, milk, cheese, meat, and Capuns (local specialty), see map.
There is a Volg (supermarket) in Vella.
In Ilanz, there is a very large Coop, Migros, Aldi and Jumbo.
You may use our food supplies and firewood. Please replenish what you use.
Waste & Recycling
Please dispose of waste, use green bags.
Recycle glass and cans. See map.
In Vella, there is a waste disposal & recycling facility opposite the Volg.
Cardboard is not disposed of here, please take it with you.

Surselva Tourism: Everything about the region, ski and hiking tips, restaurants, culture
Davos-Munts Swimming Lake & Restaurant: Our favorite place, a true gem, very fine dining.
Restaurant Pellas: Right next to the valley station, sun terrace, minced meat with macaroni for kids.
Menzli Ski Rental Vella: Right by the valley station, only in winter
Outdoor Shop Menzli Ilanz: Rental and purchase of bikes, skis, etc.
Therme Vals: Beautiful thermal baths by star architect Zumthor. Book online in advance.
Check-Out
Remove bed linens, place them in front of the washing machine.
Towels place in front of the washing machine.
Blinds: Lower all blinds.
Blinds in the attic: Close the inner blinds. Do NOT close the outer blinds in winter. They break when it snows.
Toilets: Please check that they are not continuing to flush. This triggers an alarm with management to prevent flooding. This stops the water in the whole house, including our neighbor Andriu's.
Please empty the refrigerator.
Disposal: Please dispose of waste, glass, metal. Take cardboard with you.
Lock up: Lock the garage door and front door, place key in the key box in the mailbox.
